This project set out to coordinate and promote an engaging collaboration within the natural sciences area between:

- Public schools in the Danis Municipality Ballerup, near Copenhagen, Denmark
- Local businesses (IT, medical, energy, biotechnology, agriculture and food)
- Local educational institutions

12 8th grade classes was offered a new concept for a ”Science-cooperation”, developed in an alliance between schools, local businesses and relevant educational institutions. ”Science-cooperation” acts as a redesigned science education away from the classroom.

The project heavy depended on an anthropological approach and digital supported innovation processes with tools like PIIPL. The images produced was displayed at innovation camps, in workshops and for information materials. Peter Mark was both project manager and documented the proces as a part of Innovation Center Copenhagen in Denmark.

In order for parents with good conscience can concentrate on their professional lives, they need to feel confidence to deliver their baby. Parents need assurance, that their child is being cared for, by competent people who want to be with children and help them learn and discover.

Since parents are only in daily contact with the institution in delivery and pick up situations, this project focus on how to bring better information to the parents beside this touch point. By getting close to users, Innovation Center Copenhagen found the following parameters to create parent-confidence:

* Insight into a child everyday
* Content staff who thrive
* The child is seen and embraced
* Aware and trusted staff
* Opportunity for dialogue and exchange ideas with staff

The project enabled technology firms with insights, which they used to make prototypes for mobile solutions ( kindergarden Apps).

With project manager Sara Øllgaard and anthropologist Josefine Due, I documented the process and provided images for workshops, information materials and inspiration.

The project aimed to create a series of innovative solutions that prevent digital bullying among youth in the danish Egedal Municipality.

The project engaged the young school children and their relatives and local people whom they daily interact with. Together they contributed first-hand knowledge and insights into the overall bullying issues. Moreover they worked with the means to prevent, tackle and solve bullying as a critical element in the lives of young people.

Possible preventive product and service solutions was developed through a collaboration between Egedal Municipality, the pupils, schools, parents, SSP consultants and several private companies.

The project used Public Private Innovation process, inspired by ’design-thinking’ and methods of user-centered innovation. Exampels are: user observation, employee / student co-creation workshops, rapid prototyping and testing of concepts with young people and municipal employees.

The pictures produced, was used to communicate with project partneres, parents and sponsors.
